Thai Yoga Bodywork employs a wide range of techniques in its approach. In a  deep state of relaxation, it's like having a Yoga class done to you, enabling a deeper level of stretch and stress relief. It is a wonderful combination of therapeutic Yoga stretching, joint mobilization, acupressure, energy balancing, rhythmic deep tissue compression, soft tissue manipulation, assisted Yoga asana, and meditation, resulting in a powerful experience of applied Yoga Therapy.

Just as we experience in a Yoga class, joints are opened, muscles and tendons are stretched, internal organs toned, vitality increased, and energy balanced;

bringing about a deep state of relaxation, rejuvenation, and well-being.

Thai Yoga bodywork also helps balance the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the individual as well.

Performed on a futon floor mat, the client is dressed in comfortable clothing that allows full movement of the entire body. The Thai practice believes that there is a network of unseen vessels, called "sen" (meridians) that distribute the life energy throughout the body. When any of these become blocked, it can invite pain, stress,tension, and illness.

This practice draws upon different techniques and intricate movements of pressure points, gentle rocking, deep yogic stretching, and compression. The process removes obstructions and helps the body find equilibrium creating calm and ease. Thai Yoga allows a person to experience Yoga in a whole new way.
